Federal Board 10th Grading Formula
For Matric and Intermediate exams, the Federal Board (FBISE) replaced the previous 7-grade style with a new 10-point grading system beginning in 2025. Grades such as A+, A, B++, B+, C, D, E, and U (Unsatisfactory) are included in the revised scheme, and the new passing score is 40%. In an effort to provide a more comprehensive assessment of student achievement, results will now display letter grades along with grade points, which will be utilized to compute GPA and CGPA.
